Tasked with the brief to fully transform and revolutionise their digital identity, WDA has boosted SamcoSport’s online presence and realigned it with the new brand we created for the company. Officially launched to coincide with Autosport, the new site will be further developed with lots of exciting future enhancements planned. For now the site enables customers to ‘Connect to Victory’ online, by bringing the emotive new brand positioning and brand visual identity into the digital arena.

SamcoSport are giants in the world of motorsport, and regarded as the undisputed leaders in high performance silicone hoses. However, the old site was felt to be falling behind the competition, and not representative of Samco’s reputation for quality and technological superiority. Additionally the site had also become very restrictive in terms of both functionality and support.

As well as upgrading the visual identity, content and overall design and layout; the new site has been built on an all new dynamic platform which gives much more functionality and options going forward. Now fully responsive the site has been designed first and foremost to work on mobile devices; absolutely critical given the device usage habit’s of today’s audience.

We are on the look out for talented designers to join our growing city centre agency. Our award-winning portfolio of work includes campaigns for the likes of Yamaha, Bentley and a raft of interesting local clients.

Your passion for creating great concepts alongside highly polished brand design will be evident in your portfolio. You should be proficient with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, have an understanding of web technologies and best practice to aid your designs. You should be enthusiastic and work with a ‘can do’ attitude.

This is the perfect opportunity to join one of the best agencies in the Midlands and put your own stamp on the studio output.

You’ll be working in a range of disciplines including;

  • Brand identity
  • Packaging / POS
  • Advertising – on and offline
  • Storyboard for video
  • Web design (visual design)

Additional talents such as HTML / CSS, Motion Graphics or Copywriting are welcome, but not required.

Additionally you should possess excellent planning and organisational skills to help ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to our quality and budget targets. You should also be an ideas generator, as you will be expected to participate in creative sessions at concept stage. You must have the ability to work on your own or as part of an internal team.
