Back in January 2016, WDA Branding were appointed to rebrand SDL, formerly known as Shepherd Direct Ltd. The rebrand was a group strategy to pull together all of the aspects of their comprehensive range of property related services.
First on the agenda was to unify the businesses and adopt the “SDL” prefix. This has allowed acquisitions to adopt the new group identity whilst retaining historic recognition. You can read more about the rebranding of SDL here.
More recently, WDA have been tasked with carrying these changes over into their website. Having a go-to place for the entirety of SDL’s property management offering was the main aim – meaning that visitors to their website could not only find all that they needed in one place…but also (with cross-selling in mind) find things they didn’t know they needed.
The new SDL Property Management website is fresh and clean with a place for all services including Lettings, Estate Management and the newly launched SDL Property Partners.
WDA’s Creative Director Chris Redshaw, said:
“It can be a complicated task to amalgamate a multitude of service offerings into one website but SDL were great to work with and more than happy to take our advice on board.
We’ve created a new modular website that can be adapted and scaled easily as the business grows, although the group is already a Sunday Times Fast Track Co with over 400 staff. Whilst making the new website bright and modern, we made sure they kept aspects of the original branding, such as Shep, the trusty SDL Border Collie.”
